TiE Global Summit 2026

Distinguished members of TiE Bhubaneswar participated in the inaugural ceremony and welcome dinner of the TiE Global Summit on 4th January 2026, held alongside Rajasthan DigiFest. Celebrating global entrepreneurship under the theme “Hustle, Heritage & Hospitality,” the summit focused on AI, technology, innovation, and sustainable growth. The event was graced by Rajasthan’s Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, highlighting the strength and momentum of India’s startup ecosystem. The participation of TiE Bhubaneswar members reinforced the chapter’s commitment to fostering global connections, empowering entrepreneurs, and driving innovation-led growth across Odisha and beyond.

TiE Colombo hosted its first flagship global entrepreneurship summit, TiECon Sri Lanka 2026: Go Global – The Runway to the World, on January 9, 2026, in Colombo. The summit brought together entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and innovators from across the globe, focusing on scaling businesses and enabling global market opportunities. The event also featured a Partner Leadership Meet to strengthen collaboration among TiE Global leaders and partner chapters. TiE Bhubaneswar was represented by Mr. Ayaskanta Mohanty, President; Mr. Debasish Patnaik, Former President; and Charter Member Mr. Manas Ranjan Behera, reinforcing TiE Bhubaneswar’s commitment to global networking, collaboration, and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem

At the 10th TiE Global Summit held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, TiE Bhubaneswar honored distinguished leaders with mementos of gratitude as a mark of appreciation for their contributions to the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The honors were presented to Mr. Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Convener of the Summit; Dr. Sheenu Jhawar, Trustee of the TiE Global Board and President of TiE Rajasthan; and Mr. Anshuman Sinha, Trustee of the TiE Global Board. TiE Bhubaneswar expressed its gratitude for their continued guidance, encouragement, and support in strengthening entrepreneurship, expanding collaboration, and contributing to the growth of the global TiE ecosystem.

TiE Bhubaneswar DeepSphere organized a masterclass on “AI-Era Cybersecurity for MSMEs” on January 22, 2026. The keynote session was delivered by Dr. Ashwini Kumar Rath, Charter Member and mentor at TiE Bhubaneswar and Director & CEO of Batoi Systems, on “Cybersecurity in the Age of AI: A Practical Guide for MSMEs.” Dr. Rath discussed how AI is transforming cybersecurity threats and why traditional security methods need to evolve. He introduced the SMART Model Framework covering Structured Data and Systems, Measurable Risk, Automated Controls, Responsible AI, and Trusted & Sustainable Systems. Emphasizing the need for faster security responses, he said, “AI moves at machine speed. Security must do the same.” The session began with a welcome address by Ms. Smruti Priyadarshni Nayak and concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Swadhin Biswal, who announced that TiE DeepSphere Bhubaneswar has reached the milestone of 100 members

TiE Startup Open MiC Connect Programme was successfully conducted on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the O-HUB Auditorium. The event was anchored by TiE Bhubaneswar Charter Member Mr. Adit Jena, whose engaging style helped connect ideas, people, and conversations throughout the programme. The session featured an insightful fireside chat with Mr. Smruti Parida, Founder & CEO of Finguine and Keacyte, moderated by Mr. Pravat Panda, Chairperson of Open MiC Connect. The event also included a masterclass by Mr. Dhiraj Kumar Sinha, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SilverX Fund. The three-hour programme offered valuable insights, meaningful discussions, and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and startup enthusiasts, creating an enriching experience for all attendees.
