TiE Industry Connect Initiative at KISS University

TiE Bhubaneswar successfully participated in the Industry Connect Initiative at KISS University on February 13, 2026. TiE Bhubaneswar Charter Member and Chair – Voice of Entrepreneurship & Entrepreneurship Odisha Outreach Programs, Mr. Abhitabya Pattanaik, addressed students and shared his entrepreneurial journey along with valuable insights into the rapidly growing InsurTech sector. The session encouraged students to explore innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging opportunities in the business world. Another TiE Bhubaneswar Charter Member, Mr. Prasad Routray, also participated in the interaction, creating a positive impact among the students. As part of the programme, over 140+ students successfully completed the Mutual Fund Awareness Program and received certifications, contributing toward building financially aware, skilled, and future-ready youth.

TiE Bhubaneswar Partners with NMIET to Promote Entrepreneurship and Innovation

TiE Bhubaneswar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NMIET, Bhubaneswar, to strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation among students. The partnership aims to create a strong ecosystem through joint initiatives including workshops, startup awareness programs, expert talks, mentoring sessions, bootcamps, and innovation challenges. The collaboration will support aspiring student entrepreneurs with guidance on idea validation, business planning, funding readiness, and market access. The MoU signing ceremony concluded with a formal exchange of documents and an interactive session with students in the presence of NMIET’s leadership team and distinguished TiE members — Raghab Prasad Panda, Adit Jena, Sitansu Mishra, CA Avinash Kotni, CA Prahalad Karan, CA Nitin Manek, and Om Prakash Mallik. This partnership marks a significant step toward nurturing young innovators and strengthening Odisha’s startup ecosystem.

Bridging Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship: A Vision for Future Innovators

TiE Bhubaneswar President Mr. Ayaskanta Mohanty visited MITS School of Biotechnology and addressed students on the transformative role of entrepreneurship in the biotech sector. During the engaging session, he encouraged young biotech professionals to look beyond laboratories and develop an entrepreneurial mindset to turn innovations into impactful solutions. The highlight of the programme was a vibrant poster presentation session showcasing students’ innovative research and project work. Mr. Mohanty interacted with participants, reviewed their ideas, asked insightful questions, and shared valuable feedback to encourage their entrepreneurial journey. The session inspired students to explore the intersection of biotechnology, innovation, and business, strengthening the vision of nurturing future-ready entrepreneurs in Odisha’s growing startup ecosystem
