Mr. Ayaskanta Mohanty, President of TiE Bhubaneswar, delivered the graduation day address at BIITM, Bhubaneswar on December 13, 2025, inspiring students with valuable perspectives on career growth and professional development. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of graduating students as they received their degrees in the presence of distinguished guests, including Prof. (Dr.) Amiya Kumar Rath, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of BPUT, Rourkela, who joined in presenting certificates and medals. TiE Bhubaneswar Member Represents MedTech Innovation at Odisha Pharma Summit 2025

TiE Bhubaneswar proudly shared the participation of its Associate Member, Mr. Shuvam Garabadu from Noble Pharmacare Limited, Patia, in a one-on-one interaction with Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Majhi during the Odisha Pharma Summit 2025 held on 16th December 2025 at Vivanta, Bhubaneswar. The interaction highlighted industry perspectives on strengthening the pharma and medical devices ecosystem in Odisha. During the summit, the Government of Odisha launched the Odisha Pharma & Medical Devices Policy 2025 and announced 100 acres of land at Khordha Industrial Area for developing an integrated pharma and medical devices park. The initiative marks a significant step towards boosting innovation, manufacturing, and healthcare entrepreneurship in the state.

TiE Bhubaneswar Hosts First Open Mic Connect Programme

TiE Bhubaneswar successfully hosted its inaugural Open Mic Connect programme on December 23, 2025, featuring an insightful panel discussion with Shri Priyadarshi Mohanpatra, Founder of Cure Bay. Moderated by TiE Charter Member Shri Abhitabya Pattanaik, the session explored the challenges, milestones, and impact of building a successful entrepreneurial journey. Shri Mohanpatra shared valuable insights on rural-focused business models, community-driven solutions, scaling ventures, and creating sustainable impact. The interactive session allowed founders and co-founders to discuss their challenges and learn from real-world experiences. Anchored by TiE Charter Member Shri Adit Jena, the programme highlighted the strength of the TiE ecosystem, mentorship opportunities, and the power of collaboration in fostering Odisha’s startup community.

TiE Bhubaneswar Executive Committee Meeting in Spicy South

The TiE Bhubaneswar Working Committee met on 28th December 2025 under the leadership of Mr. Ayaskanta Mohanty, President, TiE Bhubaneswar, to review progress and define strategic priorities for strengthening Odisha’s startup ecosystem. The meeting focused on key initiatives including funding support, mentorship programs, investor connections, and entrepreneur outreach. To enhance member engagement, cohort-based forums will be introduced to encourage collaboration and collective problem-solving. The Mentor–Mentee Program and Incubation Connect initiatives were assigned to dedicated leaders to expand support across the entrepreneurial ecosystem. TiE Bhubaneswar also announced a collaborative programme with five other TiE Chapters, reaffirming its commitment to innovation, growth, and impactful execution in 2026.
