On February 29th, 2024, TiE Bhubaneswar hosted the TiE Women Programme under the theme “Empower Her: Strengthen Connections for Women Entrepreneurs.” The event aimed to foster connections, share experiences, and nurture impactful relationships among women entrepreneurs.

Distinguished Member of Parliament from Rajya Sabha, Sasmit Patra, honored the occasion as the chief guest. Engaging in an interactive session with women entrepreneurs, he expressed confidence in the increasing influence and resilience of female entrepreneurs, highlighting their ability to overcome various obstacles.

During the event, Ms. Shalini Kothakonda, CMD of Shree Hospitals, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. She shared insights from her personal life and entrepreneurial journey, offering valuable perspectives to the attendees.

Shri Ayaskanta Mohanty, President of TiE Bhubaneswar, moderated an interactive session at the event, featuring both the chief guest and the guest of honor. He facilitated discussions and honored them with felicitations at the session’s end.

In the opening address, Swosti Mishra, TiE Women Champion, and Ms. Jayanti Mohapatra provided an overview of the program, followed by introductory remarks from various women entrepreneurs.

The event welcomed prominent personalities including Sanu Ratho, Vice President of TiE Bhubaneswar, Rakesh Gupta, Treasurer of TiE Bhubaneswar, and TiE Associate member Mr. Amiya, among others. It also saw the enthusiastic participation of over 25 accomplished women entrepreneurs, enriching the event’s ambiance and importance.
